Google Scholar - a variation on the ol' Google Search (which looks at everything!) ... Google Scholar looks "specifically for scholarly literature, including peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, preprints, abstracts and technical reports from all broad areas of research". A relatively new offering in this more focused world of surfin' - still being reviewed by potential users.
