JCMC Vol 9 Issue 1: The Multilingual Internet
The editor's introduction says "The number of non-English speaking Internet users has grown to 470 million, roughly two-thirds of all users " and this special issue of the Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication explores some issues of this many-languaged medium. One of the editors is Brenda Danet who was involved in some very interesting papers published in issue 2 of the first volume of JCMC - Plays & Performance in CMC including "Curtain Time 20:00 GMT: Experiments in Virtual Theater on Internet Relay Chat".
